Randall Stout Architects chose polished concrete when they were looking for a floor that would enhance the cutting edge design of the Art Gallery of Alberta. They chose Desco to provide the finish they were looking for. Not only does this floor require less maintenance than other floor systems, it is also LEED friendly. The polished concrete extends up onto the steps creating a unified look throughout the space.
