A High End Floor For Innovative Customers

Planning for Polished Concrete

The Brenex building is neither large nor high profile. Located off 50th Street in an industrial part of the city, you might easily drive by and not notice it. But once inside the building, you won’t forget it. The Edmonton business did something special with their polished concrete floor. During the construction phase, the concrete specified was not your typical ‘parkade grey’ in colour, but a rich charcoal dyed concrete. The colour was specified with a polished concrete floor in mind. Normally to achieve this kind of colour in a floor we would apply a dye that impregnates the concrete. But when the concrete mix itself is coloured prior to being laid in the floor it stands out more.

The floor is complemented with a modern office and a custom concrete boardroom table. The result is an office that you won’t forget.
